Terrible quality control

I’ve been trying to buy this guitar from various stores, but I’ve had to return every single one due to recurring quality control issues. They keep painting over dust particles or poorly sanded necks, which results in a finish with tiny bumps that you can actually feel while playing.

Very nice feeling (satin body and neck) and looking guitar. The fretwork is very good and the guitar itself is well made. No flaws. The Fishman pickups are good but I wish it had EMGs.

Wofür diese Gitarre gedacht ist, muss wohl nicht näher erklärt werden. Die EC1000 Reihe ist bekannt vor allem für die härtere Gangart und dieses Modell macht keine Ausnahme.
Über Geschmack lässt sich streiten, mir gefällt aber die Camo Optik sehr. Die matte Oberfläche fühlt sich toll an und (was ich nicht geahnt habe) die matte Rückseite des Halses lässt sich überraschend gut bespielen. Ich bin auf den Geschmack gekommen!
Ich war immer Fan der Partnerschaft zwischen ESP / LTD und EMG Pickups. Die für mich neuen Fishmans allerdings stehen dem in nichts nach. Sie drücken derbe ohne Dynamik oder Charakter zu verlieren. Der Push Pull bietet noch ein wenig mehr Flexibilität.
Verarbeitung und Qualität der Bauteile ist top, die Tuner halten Stimmungen von E Standard bis Drop C bisher ohne Probleme dauerhaft stabil.
Alles in allem kriegt man, was man erwartet. Ein Brett für die härteren Töne, top Verarbeitet mit hochwertigen Komponenten. Es macht einfach Spaß!
