It is like playing a good quality acoustic guitar with the dimension of a standard telecaster. The sound is good and by now I haven't found a single issue in using it.
But don't pretend to use it also like a normal electric guitar because it's built like an acoustic and the size and hardness of the string are proportioned to it.

Just remember to charge it before your gigs. :)

Die Suche nach einer guten Live-Akustikgitarre..

führte mich u.a. über die Fender Acoustasonic Tele.
Gleich vorweg: wenn Acoustasonic, dann die teure "American", da nur diese Linie den dritten Pickup eingebaut hat, der den Korpus mitaufnimmt. Genau dieser Sound mit diesem Pickup hat mir am besten gefallen.

Die Gitarre hab ich mit zwei anderen verglichen: der L.R. Baggs AEG-1 und der Maton SRS808C.
Ziel: die Gitarre soll verstärkt über die Anlage gut klingen (LiveLooping), akustischer Sound ist zweitrangig.
Nach langer Reise über verschiedene Pickupsysteme (Fishman Rare Earth Blend, K&K pure mini bei meiner Seagull Gitarre) wollte ich einen Plug&Play Sound, der direkt überzeugt.

Die L.R.Baggs hatte ein in meiner Erfahrung typisches Klangproblem mit hohlen Mitten und wenig Bass, das nach Phasenproblem klingt.
Ansonsten sehr schöne Gitarre und angenehm zu spielen, aber wenns nicht klingt, nützt es auch nichts.;)

Die Fender Tele hatte schon einen weitaus besseren Klang, die E-Gitarrensounds haben mich nicht überzeugt - wäre ein sehr cooles Feature gewesen, dass ich im LiveLooping gern eingesetzt hätte.

Die Erleuchtung kam aber mit der Maton Gitarre und dem hochgelobten Pickupsystem um den AP5 Pro. Der Piezo klingt erste Sahne, druckvoll, ausgeglichener Sound - in Verbindung mit dem Mikrofon werden feinste Nuancen übertragen und verleiht der verstärkten Gitarre eine Natürlichkeit in Sound das ich noch nie von einer Akustikgitarre gehört habe.
Ein Traum! Plug&Play!

Nicht umsonst wird sie von Tommy Emmanuel gespielt, und wenn ich Joe Robinson paraphrasiere: Wenn man einmal eine Maton hat, wird man keine andere mehr live spielen wollen!

Takamine hat ein ähnliches PickupSystem verbaut in den höherpreisigen Gitarren, habe ich allerdings nicht probiert.

FAZIT Fender und LRBaggs: Verpassen leider das wichtigste, und das ist ein überzeugender Sound. Vielversprechende Konzepte, aber die eierlegende Wollmilchsau ist eben nur ein Fabelwesen..

Je joue sur cette guitare depuis maintenant 3 mois et c'est toujours un plaisir ! D'une part elle est très agréable à jouer, légère, bien équilibrée, le mache n'accroche pas et les touches sont top. D'autre part les variations des sons acoustiques offrent une grande possibilité de création, le mode percution c'est game-changer j'adore ! Seul bémol pour les sons électriques qui grésillent légèrement sur mon ampli.
Bilan des courses: Avec une pédale loop je passe mes journées à jouer sur cette guitare.
