These fit the blade switch very snug and are a great replacement item for a vintage telecaster, or for a "vintage look" on new switches.
They are a direct replacement for the originals. Mine didn't have any extra plastic along the seams. They are a high quality part.

I used one of these fender tele tips to replace a switch tip lost at a gig on my highway one tele, you just push it on so it's easy to install and with the two pack it's always handy to have a spare in the cupboard, thankfully I haven't needed it yet!

They both broke first try.

I was very delicate with them and I was even trying to pry them a little bit with a flat-headed screwdriver to try and loosen them. A small bit with both of them broke within seconds of trying to turn put onto my telecaster. I wouldn't recommend it. Go for something cheaper. Save save your money
