I'm putting together my first rack and wanted something that had rack rails on both sides and would not break the bank.
I am very satisfied with my purchase, but beware: the material is THIN, and therefore a little wobbly, specially if you do not have rack material installed. Once you install your precious rack equipment, it is fine, but I would NOT see myself taking this on the road. It is definitely a stay at home or studio rack. I actually though about buying another one (10U or something) to put it on top of this one if I ever buy more rack equipment, but the material being so thin, I do not see myself doing it.
Again, I'm very satisfied with this purchase for my situation. I have a Boogie Power Amp in the bottom, a 3U drawer and then two retractable shelfs (for a Quad Cortex and an Ox Box) and it looks and works great.
