GF ligatures are excellent value for money and totally reliable. They add a little sizzle to the sound. I find them very useful in live situations since a small adjustment of mouthpiece position does not result in the ligature and reed falling off the mouthpiece. I use the German clarinet size for a thin ebonoite alto sax mouthpiece.
