Very neat little bit of kit

Treated myself to a second pair of hi-hats and didn't want to make the original lighter set redundant. Knowing the quality of Gibralter hardware I thought I would give this a go. This unit screws on to the thread on the top of a cymbal stand (I use this on a lightweight Yammy if that helps with thread size). The cymbals sit well in their respective felts and seem to be stable enough. Only time will tell. As I say, only holding a pair of Sabian AA lights but cannot see a reason they would not cope with a heavier pair if necessary. Always fancied playing around with a second set of hats and this device is a very good value way of getting the required setup if you have a spare cymbal stand.

Turn any stand into an X hat

Very useful piece of kit. I have an auxiliary hi hat that is quite weighty and time consuming to set up. This product is ideal for gigs with a quick turnaround time between bands. Good product for the money. Note, this can be used on its own on a stand or you can have a cymbal on the stand and then stack the x hat on top
