Great stuff

Probably the bess "uke-style" acoustic bass around. The 25" scale makes it way easier to hit the right points compared to the more common smaller scale guitars. Light-weight and comfortable to play, and looks stunning.

Setup was overall solid, however the E string rattles quite heavily on the 3rd fret line, so will need to bring it in for a setup. The onboard EQ is super sensitive, too much to one side and the sound gets muddy and "farty", too much to the other and it's thin and clacky. Once you find your sweet spot it sounds amazing however, especially in the studio with an external mic/DI recording combo. Haven't tried it in a live setting yet so remains to be seen how it'll handle a PA and potential feedback issues and so on.

Overall very happy though, this one's a keeper. If you ever wanted to be able to stuff an upright bass in a guitar bag, this is as good as it gets.
