My original 1991 Valley Arts guitar had its original Valley Arts branded Gotoh tuners replaced with not properly fitting Schaller tuners. The Gotohs fit properly as the headstock was designed to have them. They grab onto the strings firmly without being mechanically locking tuners. Twist ratio is 1:14. Solid Japanese built quality tuners!
