These were some really good tuners! I installed them super easily, my only complaint is that there isn't a size adjustability as there is on the hipshot website, came here as taxes would have made them obscenely expensive and so I had to drill a little but into it, but otherwise, super worthwhile for the 8 string!

Hipshot are my far favourite locking tuners, and I have guitars with Sperzel, schaller and gotoh locking tuners. The tuning mechanism is buttery smooth and they are darn stable.

Shame thomann doesnt sell full sets yet. The UMP no drill install brackets are genius!

Put these on a project guitar and they work great but the locking screws are a little more fragile than I expected so I opted for a set of Sperzel trim-lok machines instead!
