Just perfect

The best compressor/limiter on the market, worth every penny, not for country players,but it does the job I need perfectly, clear clean tones, on clean electric and acustic guitars, and bass guitars for live shows, with NO NOISE that you get from a regular compressor/sustainer pedal. Very happy with it.

Ich war auf der Suche nach einem Kompressor
- für Bühne und Heimstudio,
- in Form eines Boden-Effektgeräts,
- für meine Gitarren (PRS Custom, Hoyer 4062),
- dessen Regelbereich von dezent bis extrem reicht,
- der "always on" und spezifisch als Limiter, Booster oder Effekt nutzbar
- und im Jazz, Blues, Funk bis Hardrock sinnvoll einsetzbar ist.

Mit dem Compressor Pro habe ich nach viel Recherche und Probieren das Ding gefunden.

Vorteile:
- Studioqualität
- hohe Variabilität
- keine Einschränkung bezüglich Musikstil

Nachteile:
- am Gerät selbst kein Beimischen des Original-Signals (blending) und damit keine Parallel-Kompression (parallel compression) möglich
- kein Sidechain Insert

Die "Nachteile" sind nicht wirklich welche, denn für die Parallel-Kompression habe ich mir einen Mischer dazugekauft (für die notwendige Zusatzinvestition ein Stern Abzug bei den features). Und ein Sidechain Insert wäre Luxus, den ich für den Bühneneinsatz oder im digitalen Studio noch nicht vermisst habe, da ich Alternativen nutze.

Pricey but worth every euro

This is the one of best compressors that i encountered. Very light and compact pedal, with lot of controls, just like studio compressor.
There is absolutely no sound coloration of your tone, and good thing is that you can put this pedal anywhere on pedalboard. Only downside is lots of knobs, but i don't mind it because i can shape compression to every situation that i encounter.
