Good non invasive solution

Easy to fit the K&K by following the instructions and not rushing! Very happy that I dont have to cut or drill holes in the mandolin. Good sound with my old Gordon Giltrap preamp. Happy to recommend this pickup.

Perhaps this would work better if I had a more expensive mandolin; as it is, the Fishman built-in bridge pickup produces a much nicer sound. I was hoping to merge them in a dual preamp, but this produces too thin a sound with accompanying body noise. Not for me. It's an easy install, but not so easy to uninstall.

Totally transformed my stage craft. No longer needed to be stuck next to a microphone and fighting against feedback. Its not immune to feedback but the sheer power of DI-ing the mandolin has been priceless.
