K&M 12260 Double Music Light Black

So I spend a lot of hours practicing on my drum set and I used to have simple LED lights about 5000 kelvin in color which is cool white.
This comes with 2 bulbs that are 2700 kelvin in color which is warm white. You can change them to cool white if you want, so there is also this option. For me, the warm white light really made my eyes happy. I used to get headaches and tired by reading, but now I never get tired, and I can see everything so clear... If you practice a lot everyday I really recommend it...!

Well built and powerful lamp.

Not been using it long so can't say how it will last under constant gigging.

I bought the double lamp version because
1: it should be more powerful than the single lamp version
2: its unlikely both bulbs would go at the same time

I think that over time the joints may loosen and need tightening. The lamp is quite heavy. Also not had enough time to know how long the bulbs last.

So far it does everything I wanted from it...no problems.

I bought this double light because I also bought the same single light version some years ago which has given me sterling service. As with all K&M products this is quality and well worth the price.

I always buy K&M as they are brilliant. This, however, is slightly disappointing. The light output is very good, but it won’t stay in position, despite me tightening up the joins where I can. So, it’s an ‘OK’ from me rather than a ‘brilliant’.

This product does the job intended very well, i just wish there was an easy way to store them and fold them up without worrying about lamp damage

I've been using lots of different LED things for years, but night driving home after LED is difficult.
I find that with this K&M, my vision doesn't fade or haze, even when reading unreharsed scores.
The position adjustments and 'gripper' seem OK on my music stand.
OK, it's a bit on the large side, but once in position, it Is "perfect" for me. No more hunting.
