Legendary guitar at a seriously good price

I had realistic expectations based on reviews, esp. regarding QC, but I was pleasantly surprised.

It’s made in Indonesia, not Korea, but this guitar is miles ahead in QC and finish of an Indo made Ibanez I had. This Kramer is pretty much flawless. Frets are perfect. FR is good. Tuners are good. Nut is good. The finish is flawless, both body and neck. The setup was decent, you can’t complain.

The only negative is the middle (neck) pickup which is slightly narrow. Both E strings are almost outside the magnet, but it sounds good, so I doubt I’ll do anything about it.

IMO this guitar represents great value. You get the legendary 24.75" Nightswan at a very good price.

Also thanks to Thomann for selling new products that are in fact new. Not mentioning other online retailers, but the assurance of actually recieving a brand new product is highly valuable.

Klasse Gitarre für den Preis :)

War schon lange auf der Suche nach ner Gitarre die die kurze Mensur und ne Strat Form hat. Mit der Kramer Nightswan hab ich sie endlich gefunden.
Das Wichtigste zur Erst - der Sound:
Wenn man sich die Jungs aus den 80ern anhört, weiß man, was da auf einen zukommt. Rock/Heavy-Metal Brett. Unten recht gut definiert. Obere Mitten sehr drückend und klar definierte Höhen. Für meinen Geschmack auch nicht zu "britzelig". Der mittlere Pickup klingt natürlich nicht ganz wie ein bekannter Neck Pickup, taugt aber für schöne "sahnige" Soli.
Verarbeitung:
Hier hab ich keine Mängel gefunden. Klar: super eingestellt auf meine Bedürfnisse war die Gitarre nicht. Hier sollte man entweder genau wissen, was man tut oder sie zu nem Gitarrenhändler/bauer bringen und das machen lassen. Kann schon dauern, bis man den Halswinkel, Floyd Höhe, Saitenlage und Halskrümmung eingestellt hat. Also nicht gerade etwas für den Laien. An sich sind in dem Teil auch gute Teile und Hölzer verbaut. Mein Ebenholzgriffbrett hat eine mini Maserung zu sehen. Finde ich jetzt nicht super schlimm. Auch die Elektronik ist fällt nicht nach jedem zweiten Akkord auseinander. Das Floyd ist stimmstabil und tut was es tun muss. Wie auch immer gilt hier: teurer und besser geht immer. Aber für so einen Preis eine super Gitarre.

Beau matos, très bien finie, impeccable, rien à redire, sauf ma guitare n’était pas bien réglée, action beaucoup trop haute. Peut importe pour moi, car j’aime faire les réglages, qui sont aisés, mais pour quelqu’un qui ne maîtrise pas cette partie…
