Warning: I use them for contra alto clarinet (and a tenor reed for bass clarinet) instead of for saxophone. But they feel great. On bass clarinet, the sound is 95% of a good reed, let's say. Not 100% of a good reed, BUT certainly better than many, many bad reeds! So, at least for practicing and rehearsals, they seem ideal to me. For a concert, I take out the traditional canes, but anyway, it is reassuring to me that I have at least something that is totally acceptable.
