I can highly recommend this shoulder rest.
I bought it in the hope to fix the problem the way my daughter held her violin. You can hook it on your shoulder or keep it on the edge of the shoulder, it is height adjustable and now the violin sits properly where it should be, the arm position looks much better now.
It is amazingly light, has a non-slip leather pad and looks gorgeous as if it was part of the violin. It only comes in the one color - but it matches our violin perfectly.
It is also very easy to assemble. There are three holes on each side I think (definitely three on one side and two or three on the other) to fit any 3/4 or 4/4 violin.

The rest is very comfortable on the shoulder. It looks good and matches the wood of the violin nicely. My problem is that it does not stay in place sometimes, and I end up adjusting it as I play -- it tends to slide off one side of the violin or reposition itself. I have tried adjusting heights etc. and may have gotten it almost right. It is not a huge deal, but still.

As a new violinist i highly recommend this shoulder rest, i used the Kun for a long time but this immediately made a difference! It's very light, it looks great, it's made out of wood, it is VERY comfortable (for me at least) it sticks to your shoulder and does not need adjustment every minute. The only downside is that the feet are not collapsible.
