schöner und vielfältiger Sound: Boden, Sound, Fell etc. Das Ding ist natürlich auch ziemlich leicht! Das Fell ist leider sehr empfindlich, nach 3 Wochen hat sich's schon total auf gewölbt!!

Da Fiberglas fehlen Obertöne und so ist Diese Ibo Drum klanglich kein highlight. Es errinert an Plastik. Allerdings bin ich auch froh dass die Drum Roadtauglich ist. Die Basstöne sind ok, hohe Töne wie Slaps und Fingerstrikes haben mehr Obertöne als Töne in den Mitten. Zudem ist die Lebendigkeit sehr von der Lautstärke abhängig, dh. je Lauter man spielt desto lebendiger wird der Klang. Schade ist wirklich dass bei leisem Spiel jeglicher Charkater fehlt. Zudem klingen die Töne nicht so lange nach wie man sich das wünscht. Das Meinl getüftelt hat und die Ibo Drum mit Spielmöglichkeiten erweitert hat ist gelungen. Trotzdem finde ich die Drum zu teuer.

Die MEINL ID3GO IBO DRUM ist prinzipiell sehr gut verarbeitet.

Der Tri-Sound bietet Spielmöglichkeiten auf dem Bass-Loch, der Schlagfläche aus Naturfell und dem Boden der DRUM. Der Bass-Sound ist warm und durchdringend, ähnlich den Udu-Drums aus Ton/Keramik von Schalloch, das Naturfell ist sehr klein, so dass es nur mit den Fingern, nicht aber der gesamten Hand oder den Handflächen bespielbar ist. Der Sound des Bodens klingt sehr nach Plastik...aufgrund des Materials der Ibo Drum Fiberglas. Dieses jedoch macht die Trommel fast unverwüstlich. Wohingegen ähnliche Trommeln aus Ton sehr zerbrechlich sind. Alles in allem eine gelungene Ibo Drum...
