Having played guitar for 4 decades a lot of instruments pass through your hands. Visually this is a lovely looking guitar. Nice weight, smooth machine heads. The frets on this particular example are pretty good just a very very very slight edge on three. Nothing really, 5 minutes easy fix.
Plays really nice, plenty of sound variation from the pick up switches. The humbucker bridge pickup is a potent new best friend with a kick down the door booming menace of a presence. From soft and gentle to a thunderous roar/ Rock, Jazz Blues, Country are all easily covered. It stays in tune after big bends and tremolo karate and fresh out of the box, intonation, string height were all spot on. A refreshing change was I didn't have to tinker and fiddle around with this Mooer all I had to do was plug it in. It's fun to play and sounds much more expensive. The value for money on this is astonishing. Affordable guitars when I was very young had many setbacks flaws and faults. That was the trade off for lower spendability...These days and this Mooer is a perfect example you can get a genuinely excellent instrument for a relatively low amount of your hard earned money. 4.5 stars total.
