Due to the special design and the bass reflex system, the cajon has 2 easily accessible bass zones: Normal bass (as with regular cajones) and sub-bass played slightly lower.

It’s definitely a cajon

First off this is the most comfortable cajon I’ve played. It’s wider and deeper but also lower, so I don’t feel like I’m just perching on it. The playing surface is angle back so it really is super comfortable. Sound wise, it has a very deep and powerful bass and the snare is very responsive and tuneable. It’s quite a unique cajon giving you a different and powerful playing experience and it’s definitely worth the money.

Durch Zufall bin ich für einen Gig an dieses Cajon geraten, da ich kein eigenes zur Hand hatte. Ein schöner satter Kick und ein klarer snaresound, alles äußerst variabel. Das spielgefühl ist eher weich, aber sehr angenehm. Ich habe das Cajon minimal gedämpft mit einem Handtuch. Auch ohne Mikrofonabnahme ein toller und voller klang, der Gut mit einer Akustikgitarre mithalten kann. In Kombination mit Shure Grenzfläche und SE7 auf den Snarebereich ausgerichtet auch auf großen Anlagen ein tolles Klangbild.

Insgesamt sehr wertige Verarbeitung und toll für jegliche Art von akustischer Musik. Sehr zu empfehlen.

Perfekt verarbeitet. Schön gerundete Kanten und Daumenmulden.
Der Bass ist in der Mitte angeschlagen angenehm tief.
Die Snare Saiten können von locker bis fest, das sie nicht mehr mitschwingen, gespannt werden. Der Innensechskantschlüssel dafür kann am Boden an einem eingelassenen Magneten befestigt werden.
Die Schallöffnung auf der Rückseite ist mit einem Netz abgedeckt.
