The JDX 48 Reactor turned out to be exactly what I needed for capturing the character of my amp and guitar. I wanted something that would work without a fuss, and this little box does it perfectly.

Power problem

Have had issues with phantom power not powering the device and having to use the power supply. Not ideal since that was the point of the new model.

Je le conseil vraiment à tous ceux qui on un ampli à lampes et qui sont désireux du respect du son de leur ampli. Ca permet d'avoir toujours un son propre, n'importe ou et n'importe quand!
Surtout quand on est musicien amateur et que l'on ne veut pas du tous ce prendre la tete à sonoriser son ampli guitare.

Neben einer unzerstörbaren äußeren Erscheinung scheint auch das Innenleben das zu tun, was es soll -> sehr guter Klang.
Da ich einen Röhrenverstärker für den Bass, der keinen DI out besitzt, in ein Mischpult geben wollte, war dieser Kasten eine der wenigen Optionen. Ist natürlich eine spezielle DI-Box, die nur zwischen Box und Verstärker einen sinnvollen Dienst erweist.
Der Bass-Range-Schalter ist sinnvoll. Der Leistungsumschalter sicherlich auch.
Einzig, dass die Input/Output Buchsen nur 6,3mm Klinkenanschlüsse sind (und keine Speakon-Klinke-Kombibuchse von Neutrik z.B.) macht den 1 Punkt Abzug aus. Schließlich soll man auch 300W-Verstärker anschließen können, die heutzutage mit Speakon-Buchsen daherkommen.
