A truly amazing instrument

I originally wanted my first real Fender for this price range but absolutely do not regret choosing German quality instead!

It's the kind where you can't even be sure why is it SO good, it just is. Very responsive, the strings and the tone feels completely consistent, the neck just flows into your hand, and the body feels so nice, not sticky at all.

For the weight enthusiasts, mine is 8.4lbs / 3.8kg.

The pickup's tone is a very modern, bright take on the P sound, a lot of people don't seem to like it, but I do. Although I roll the tone down a bit, which I have never done on any other P before.

The pickups are very HOT, I did not know passive pickups can be this hot! I need to re-set every pedal setting which was never a case when swapping my other basses.

Perfecte hals en bespeelbaarheid

Short scale P bass maar dan van een bijzonder hoog niveau. De nekken van Sandberg spelen ronduit heerlijk. Dat is voor mij de grootste reden om deze bas te kopen. Ondanks dat het een short scale is, is de bas redelijk aan de zware kant. Als ik zo vergelijk schat ik hem net zo zwaar als al mijn andere bassen. De kwaliteit is echter een stuk hoger dan dat ik bij Fender ooit ben tegen gekomen. Aanrader.
