Before Selmer Jazzflow mouthpiece I was using Vandoren V16, which is a little bit darker in sound, but still it can be bright.
Difference between those two is very big, Selmer is more free blowing and a lot brighter, and also the loudness of the sound, sax with Selmer mouthpiece is a lot louder than with V16. It’s very good mouthpiece, I definitely recommend it for begginers and pro saxophonists!

Ich spiele auf dem YAS 62-04, hatte bisher das Selmer S80 C* und wollte nun mein erstes Jazz-Mundstück kaufen und bin auf dieses hier gestoßen. Ich habe mich bewusst für das 5er entschieden, da der Schritt vom geschlossenen C* auf das Flow 5 bereits groß ist. Der direkte Umstieg hat sofort geklappt, bei gleichem Blatt (Legere Signature 2,25).
Ich benötige definitiv mehr Luft, und nun nach einigen Tagen Spieldauer habe ich mich daran gewöhnt und kann ähnlich lange spielen wie zuvor mit dem S80 C*.
Ich bin begeistert von der Qualität und von der Ansprache. Der Sound ist, wie meistens, Geschmackssache - ich finde ihn spitze!
