Strymon Zuma

This was announced as a new product just as my need for a pedal power supply arose.

Already owning a Mobius and a Big Sky and liking the build quality I decided to wait until the Zuma was released.

I debated getting the much smaller Ojai which was released much earlier, especially given that you can expand with further Ojais (you can do this with the Zuma too).

Deciding factors in the end were the lack of a power brick with the Zuma (Zuma just needs a standard kettle power lead) and double the outputs but without being double the price. I guess there is not so many of us that will limit ourselves to only 5 pedals either.

Anyway this is the first pedal power suppy I have owned and ultimately its not much of a new toy to play with. It looks lovely and will match your mobius - but this isnt so important if your are mounting it under your board.

I do have peace of mind however that this should cover all power requirements for the forseeable future and if it doesnt I can expand with the Ojai. And it sure beats lugging power strips and wall warts to gigs :)
