MIDI Switch

The MIDI mouse from TECH-21 is quickly explained. A small Midi switcher in pocket format. On the front, there is an Up/Down button, an Activ/Search button and a large LED display that is easy to read even on the darkest stage. The target preset can be selected without cutting the active programme. Only pressing the Active/Search button activates the new programme. The Midi Mouse can be powered either by an external power supply unit, by phantom power via a Midi cable or by a 9V battery. If the Midi Mouse is battery-powered, the display goes into "sleep" mode after a longer period of non-use to avoid unnecessary battery drain. The slightest press of one of the three switches immediately puts the display back into operation.

Usar
A utilização que lhe dou é para mudar os presets de um Behringer Bass V-amp Pro que utilizo como Pre amp de Guitarra e Teclado.

Prós
Muito bem conseguido, robusto e facil de utilizar sem necessidade de programação, só para fazer o Program Change de aparelho MIDI.
Muito últil a funcionalidade active search quando se tem que mudar presets que estão distantes entre si, sem perder muito tempo a procurar.

Contras
Como não tem Midi In, Não recebe mensagens do aparelho emque está ligado, portanto o indicador numérico não altera quando se muda o preset directamente no aparelho a que está ligado.

Compreensibilidade
Sem necessidade de programação, pois só passa a mensagem midi de Program Change

It does what it needs to do

The pedal is a bit pricey but works perfectly. The footprint is small which makes it an ideal choice if you don't want to sacrifice too much space on your pedalboard.
The build quality is good. The only thing that could be a bit more solid is the MIDI output connector but it's just a minor issue.
I bought this pedal in order to have access to extra presets in combination with my Source Audio Soundblox 2 pedals.

Super cool, compact, ''plug & play'' little unit w/ a great build quality, super easy operation, as a MIDI illiterate i AM impressed !!
Set your stuff on receive channel 1 & go..
One word of advice though - something which is not too clear on the info you can get about the MIDI Mouse :
it ONLY sends Program Change commands but NOT Control Change commands

Does the job...

Had to order it due to fact MPC One doesn't have regular footswitch output so I had to use midi.

The unit is well constructed and durable, the seek feature is great.

Only con is that it's just a bit pricey for a footswitch.
