Ulsa Bass Endpin 45cm

I had to replace my previous endpin because the securing screw was... well, screwed. This one is so easy to tightly secure, I have it on my bass for over two years and not once it came loose, not once my fingers hurt while trying to secure it. The only unexpected effect of this is that the pin itself is a hollow metal pipe, something you can hear instantly after installing, especialy when playing with a bow. It produces a somewhat metallic resonation. Nothing I didn't get used to after half an hour of playing though.

Installation was made by a luthier, he had to widen up a bit the hole on my bass, so that's also something to keep in mind. Not all basses/endpins share the same specs.

The rubber end made it for about two years of playing, it has now started to deteriorate. I have to say I wasn't very kind to it, used it on many kind of ground types from marble to gravel. So, no hard feelings there, didn't expect it to last forever.

All and all a good product of good price/value, would buy again, would recommend.

Ich habe mir den ULSA-Stachel auf Empfehlung meiner Basslehrerin angeschafft.
Anfangs war ich ja skeptisch, was ein neuer Stachel an meinem Kontrabass (22er Thomann) ausmachen wird, ABER:
- Der Stand ist hervorragend.
- Die "Erdung" des Instruments ist wesentlich besser.
- Es wackelt nichts oder verrutscht, perfekt!

Ich habe mir den Stachel direkt bei Thomann vor Ort montieren lassen. Zuvor habe ich kurz angerufen und eine nette Mitarbeiterin hat mir den Stachel eingebaut. Mir wurden noch ausgiebig andere Stachel vorgestellt und erklärt. Meine Wahl viel aber wie gesagt auf den Ulsa.

Der Einbau war KOSTENLOS, was in der heutigen Zeit nicht selbstverständlich ist.

Man merkt deutlich dass man es bei Thomann nicht nur mit einem großen Versender, sondern auch mit einem großen Musikhaus und kompetenten Mitarbeitern zu tun bekommt. Immer wieder eine Reise wert!

Ich komme wieder und empfehle den ULSA-Stachel, nebst Einbau uneingeschränkt!
