I am using the V16-S on a Yanagisawa TW02 tenor sax, with Legere synth reeds. The results so far exceeded my expectations!

The tone produced steers toward bright, while still allowing for plenty of expression and tonal variation. The mouthpiece feels extremely free-blowing and works well across the entire octave range. It helped me especially with the palm key notes, which now are easier to blow and with more body. Overall I am very happy with the purchase, also considering the price, which is far below alternative metal pieces from brands that are nowadays heavily advertised on social media and, most often, ask for double or more the price of the V16.

Nachdem ich nun bereits einige Monate mit diesem Mundstück spiele, ist meine Einschätzung recht eindeutig. Ich greife immer wieder zum Vandoren V16 und es ist mittlerweile klar meine 1. Wahl.
Es überzeugt mich sehr stark durch seine einfache Ansprache (insbesondere bei Verwendung von folgenden Blättern: Java red 1,0...größere Stärken liefern nicht so das gewünschte Ergebnis) und seinen sehr quirligen spritzigen Klang, der aber auch für mich das richtige Maß an Mitten (betont) und Bässen aufweist. Tiefe Töne kommen sehr überzeugend und auch Altissimo funktioniert einfach. Insgesamt ist der Klang etwas lauter gegenüber vielen klassischen Kunststoff Mundstücken.
Es lässt sich aber auch sehr ruhig und smooth spielen: Jazz, Funk, Blues, Rock geht alles sehr gut. Insgesamt ein eher modernes Mundstück für meinen Geschmack. Wichtig wäre noch zu erwähnen: Das beste Ergebnis erziele ich mit einer Louis Francois Ultimate Blattschraube. Beim Testen waren Silverstein Quattro Gold Blattschrauben auch sehr gut und Vandoren Optimum geht auch recht gut. Aber das gewisse Etwas erreiche ich nur mit der Francois Louis Blattschraube und das nun endlich sehr konstant. Übrigens sind die Francois Louis Mundstücke Spectruoso ML generell sehr beliebt bei mir und ich verwende diese gerne für jazzigere Nummern. Auch wieder mit der FL Blattschraube und Java Red Reeds.

Die Töne kommen sehr präzise, obwohl ich nur Blattstärke 2.0 benutzt habe, dafür ist die Ansprache dann sehr prompt, auch das tiefe H und B kommen sehr sauber und sicher. Das gleiche gilt im oberen Register. Flageolette beherrsche ich noch nicht, dazu kann ich nichts sagen.
