I'm using the Canvas Mono with a Strymon Iridium and Line6 HX Effects, and it's been a flawless addition to my rig. Whether going straight to FOH or into an interface, the signal is clean, balanced, and free from noise or weird EQ coloration. The ground lift and pad switches are lifesavers in unpredictable live environments, and the build quality is exactly what you'd expect from Walrus — solid and road-ready.
It works especially well at the end of my chain after the Iridium, giving my amp and cab sim tone a polished finish before it hits the PA. No tone loss, no harsh highs, just smooth, reliable output. It’s transparent, which is exactly what you want from a DI like this.
If you're running amp and effect sims and want a pro-level DI to tie it all together, Canvas Mono is a no-brainer.
