Made in China. Mas de boa qualidade. Tirando alguns pormenores, tais como, os knobs vinham um pouco tortos e que tive de os retirar para colocar direitos. A parte de baixo do braço tem um corte com defeito.

Budget Warwick, but perfectly playable

I compared this with a twenty year old fretless thumb NT that I had also bought.

Yes, the thumb is better, but I was nevertheless surprised that the fretless rockbass's quality was respectful for the price. The maple neck reminded me a bit of a better version of budget Cort/Yamaha necks I have tried in the past, but at this price, I imagine it would not be cost effective for Warwick to use more exotic woods.

One thing I did not appreciate was the choice of strings, a poor choice for a fretless bass.

In conclusion, I would recommend this bass if on a budget for a fretless, but also budget in a string change at the start.

Very nice bass, plays lovely and feels comfortable, I've never tried a German Warwick but i have an American Fender and a Mexican one, and there is little difference, maybe one day I'll have the money for a German Warwick.
I marked the quality down one, purely due to the joint between the neck and fingerboard has a slight lip, which should have been sanded smooth, it's hardly noticeable, but it's there. Features wise, a passive switch would have been a bonus, but then maybe the pickups would have to change and not be as good, I don't know.
One thing for Thomann though, the Web site says "no gig bag or case", so I bought a Rockbag ready for my new toy, only to find the bass siting in a lovely Warwick Rockbag! Please amend the description to say if a bag is included.

Kytara mě překvapila svým zvukem a možností nastavení barvy zvuku. Bral jsem ji jako doplnění ke stávající basa, ale hned se stlala mou jedničkou.
