Quality material. It does what it says, but it is not a failsafe or easy to use system.
If the C-shaped metal bit that stays on the strap isn't in the right direction when you latch it, there is a chance the guitar isn't secure. For me, it's a design flaw.
All my other guitars use other strap locking systems without this issue.
