Great mouthpiece. Would recommend.

I've been using a Monette Prana TS11 S1 on a Yamaha Z custom 897Z and yesterday swapped for this Yamaha Nils Landgren piece. It's got a slim rim, a little like the Christian Lindberg, but is rounded nicely so after a while playing is no problem. The key to the mouthpiece is the depth of the cup in relation to the rim. It gives a great accuracy across the extreme ranges of my instrument; pedal notes are super secure. I've had it a week and played a gig with it last night. Super pleased and an excellent price (not all mouthpieces have to cost £300 to be any use I say). Would recommend if you are playing on a small mouthpiece but want some depth to the lower register and good broad sound. Using this with the Z1 leadpipe.

Super Mundstück

Der Rand ist nicht ganz so breit und gepolstert wie bei anderen Mundstücken. Aber er ist nicht unangenehm und schnell gewöhnt. Der Sound ist variabel. Man kann es knacken lassen und wirklich elegant oder rauchig spielen. Ansprache, Artikulation und Flexibilität sind sehr, sehr gut. Der Luftverbrauch ist sehr schön balanciert über alle Register. Wo man sonst manchmal meint, dass es bei Mundstücken Schlüsselstellen gibt, an denen sich das Spielgefühl ändert, ist hier die Kontrolle einfach gleichmäßig und perfekt. Es geht genug Luft weg und der Widerstand bleibt konstant. Ich bin begeistert. Bleibt noch zu sagen, dass ich das Mundstück auf einer nicht allzu weiten Tenorposaune spiele.

Schöne Bach 6 1/2 AL Modifikation

Das Mundstück ist interessant für Jazzposaunisten, die mit dem 6 1/2 AL von Bach gut zurecht kommen, jedoch einen etwas zentrierteren Ton suchen, ohne dass der typische Sound verloren geht.
Es ist vom Kessel her minimal enger und minimal flacher, aber es klingt ausgezeichnet: warm und doch obertonreich, ohne Härte, etwas flexibler als das Vorbild. Ich kann es nur empfehlen. Warum die goldige Version so viel teurer ist, erschließt sich mir nicht...
