One of the pistons got stuck

For the price and since is a Yamaha I was expecting a better quality. The piston number 3 got stuck and was sent to maintenance (in warranty) and after a few months the problem is happening again.
I have a much cheaper pocket trumpet and after 4 years didn't have any of this problems.

It is a bargain. Such a good quality for a reasonable price. It gives quite enough room for articulation without getting out of tune. I really can highly recommend to every intermediate players because it is definetely a step forward from beginner instruments. The only - let's say - weak point at my side is the valves. At first they seem to be a bit rough but after a month of daily usage it got far better. Now, after four months of usage, it is only the tiny sound of the valve springs that disturbs a litle bit but it is nothing you would not be able to live with in this category.

This trumpet was recommended by my son's teacher as a great student trumpet. Four years later it is still sounding great (better I suppose, due to increased skills!) and my son is very happy with it.

Great trumpet for beginers

I buy it for my son who plays trumpet for 3 years and made very good decision with this trumpet. Very accurate intonation, extraordinary precise workmanship, great compression. Every part fit perfectly. Easy to play. Sound is light, open, but not so warm and big as professional models of course. Can't expect it for this price. Quality/Price ratio is great. I'm very pleased with the trumpet.
