Excellent upgrade

I have owned an original YTR-8335LA S trumpet for several years and it has served me very well. I was hesitant to consider an upgrade to the second generation but was tempted after reading reviews and hearing it played. Immediately I started playing it was very clear that I had made the right decision. It is obviously heavier and feels solid. The tone and openess of the low range is impressive. The upper range is brighter but not too shrill. It slots much more easily and dynamically feels more responsive. Reviews suggested that it requires 'more air' but I would disagree.
A week in and I am very happy with my choice. It gets better each day.

Better than I had hoped for!

If you are looking for a new trumpet, don't buy anything until you've tried this horn. I played a friend's YTR-8335LA Gen 1 (clear lacquered) which was every bit as good as my 1974 Benge 3X. However, I wanted the Gen 2 in silver plate and Thomann helped me get one. 36 hours later I had it.

The horn:

1). Is flawless in construction and finish.
2). Plays in tune in all registers.
3). Slots effortlessly efficient from PPP->FFF
4). Offers versatility from Arbans to Zappa.

Habe einen langen Nachmittag in Treppendorf verbracht, um meine neue Haupt-Trompete zu kaufen. Ich suchte nach einem Allrounder fürs Orchester. Bei dieser Trompete bin ich fündig geworden.

Ist meine erste Yamaha-Trompete und ich kann das Teil echt empfehlen. Sehr gute Ansprache bei guter Verarbeitung. Die Maschine braucht etwas mehr Öl als z.B. meine Schilke. Aber bei guter Pflege läuft alles perfekt.

Lieferung innerhalb von 36 Stunden ,danke an Thomann - Brass -Team.
Kam in Original Verpackung von Yamaha ,mit zusätzlicher Umverpackung im Neutralen Karton.
Habe mich für das Silberne Modell entschieden, wegen der Optik und für noch mehr Durchsätzungsfähigkeit.
Ich denke es it für alle Einsätze in Orchester / Blasmusik - Big Band und besonders als Lead - Trompete einsetzbar , nicht nur für Jazz.
Die Trompete will einfach spielen, an den etwas höheren Luftdurchsatz ,gewohnt man sich schnell ,ist aber kein Nachteil eher ein Plus
Die drei Sterne für Ansprache eines anderen Käufers kann ich nicht bestätigen ,die Trompete spricht in allen Registern überdurchschnittlich gut an, und ist sehr effizient zu spielen. Gut gemach Yamaha und W : B.
Es ist kein Leichtgewicht wie eine Schilke-Trompete, aber auch nicht so schwer wie eine Xeno - Trompete.
Es Ist ein Custom gemachte Trompete von Yamaha Made in Japan.
