Fiquei absolutamente satisfeito com este bass cabinet!
Pequenino quando comparado aos big boys da Ampeg mas para quem opera em estúdios de gravação de dimensões reduzidas este cabinet acaba por ser a melhor opção pois não é demasiado overkill e entrega o carácter que se deseja de um Ampeg!
Estou a usá-lo com um TC Electronics BQ500 como head. A sonoridade é muito rica e corpulenta, na verdade bem melhor que o que estava à espera!
Acabamentos muito bons, sólido e muito bonito.

Nada a apontar como algo menos positivo. 5 estrelas!

Nice sound for nice price

Ampeg is not something that nedds talking about.
this little SVT sounds good, wheights really really nothing, it has a top handle and you can easily lift it with one hand.

pros: good sound, eminence speakers, very very light, low wattage so you can use it also with guitar amps, handle and nice construction. the grill is velcroed so you can take it off for recording

cons: the grill rattle a little, for live usage it could be ok but not for recording. luckyly it is easily detachable because it is dual-lock attached on the front, so just take it away if you can. low wattage, it can easily be used with any guitar amp, but surely you have to be careful with a 700w bass head or similar.

i was looking for an easy to drive cab for bass recording without huge volume and a need of a bass amp and there it is.

Ampeg sound without the broken back

I bought one of these to match my Ampeg micro VR head, with turned out to be a great rig for smaller situations. The tone of this cab is really great, and very close to the big brother, Ampeg 810 "fridge" cabinet. It does not have huge low end, although that isn´t what I expected from a sealed 210 cabinet. It does, however, have very nice low mids and makes for a great cab for recording, bar gigs, practicing, or quenching your thirst for vintage ampeg sound, especially with the matching head.
I eventually got another one, and stacking them vertically made them into a great 410 without too much hassle to move around. I sold them to fund another ported cab, since I found the lack of deep low end didn´t suit my needs at the time. I miss these cabs now.
I would recommend this to anyone who wants a lightweight cab with a classic ampeg sound.
I would not recommend it to anyone who plans on using it on bigger shows without PA-support.

Great for rehearsals and recording

OK, so Ampeg needs no introduction, and this is their baby brother to the legendary SVT 8x10 cab. I put it to the test by playing against my 4x12 Orange cab, and it held quite nicely in terms of volume and sound quality. The overall build is very good. I like that the cab itself is very light and that you can remove the front panel to see where exactly the speakers are positioned. I use it almost exclusively for recording, but it could be well used in rehearsals and for small clubs and stages. I'm not sure if it could be enough against two guitarists with half stacks and a very loud drummer. I don't have the matching head, so I use it with my Orange AD200 MKII amp, and it sounds very good. The speakers are clear and punchy. For mobility its great - light and compact. You can easily put it in the trunk of a car. Also, I've seen it used many times by professional musicians.
