I have never be a fan of pre-muffled drum-heads. I find them "restricted". Of course, i don't think that pre-muffled drum heads are bad choice, i just prefer "clean" drumhead, without any muffling or something like that. Let me to do muffling :)
I am a fan of Aquarian drumheads in general. but never try Response 2 on kick drum. Sound is exactly what i expected to be. Open, resonant, great attack and amazing sound. If you know how to tweak bass drum, you will have no problem to do it with no pre-muffled drum-head.

ist mir zu klatschig

habe dieses fell 13 monate gespielt. diese woche fing es an allmälig kaputt zu gehen(bei harter spielweise) zum recorden war es ideal es verlieh meiner bassdrum den nötigen kick; die direktheit.

bei proben hatte ich oft das problem, dass es etwas zu klatschig, zu trocken war. die richtig tief-warmen tönen konnte ich auch durch verschiedenste stimmarten nicht erzielen
