Choice of metalhead

First time I saw such head on Behemoth (death metal) concert. And then buy it to test.
Pros: the most suitable bass drum head for playing hard, gives bright attack and very easy to tune, durable, because it have dot and you need not to buy special pads, nice price (against Evans for example).
I recommend this head for hard playing drummers, especially if your use triggers.

Really good for its price

Quality just fine, sound depends on your expectations, tuning and muffing. But it's worthy for the price.

Solid kick

Although I don't like buying new drum heads (too expensive), I would always go for that one. It's really easy to get a nice "kick" sound from it, plus it lasts quite a while even when you're playing hard and fast.

Fetter Kicksound und das auf einer NoName-Bassdrum

Der Sound des Fells lässt sich am besten mit einem Wort beschreiben: Kick!

Egal, wie hoch ich es gestimmt habe, den Attack hab ich nicht rausgestimmt bekommen und das wollte ich auch garnicht, oftmals hat man ja als Drummer (besonders in Livesituationen) als erstes das Problem, dass man die Bassdrum nicht selber hört, oder der Rest der Band sie nicht wahrnimmt, mit diesem Fell sollte das kein Problem sein, auf meiner Billigbassdrum war der Sound für härtere Musikstile top, auch, wenn es (auch auf Grund des Raumes in der sie stand) schwer war einen wirklichen Bass in der Magengegend zu bekommen, als wir jedoch das gleiche Fell nochmal auf eine andere (Mittelklasse-)Bassdrum aufzogen, wurde auch dieser zur Genüge geliefert.

Durch die Dämpfung des Fells kann man sich eigentlich jedes andere Dämpfmaterial am Schlagfell sparen (was natürlich nochmal einiges an Volumen im Sound ausmacht) und der große Dot wird auch jeglichen Einzel-und Doppelfußmaschinen genug Aufprallfläche bieten.

Alles in allem ein super Fell zu einem ausgesprochen angenehmen Preis, auch die Verarbeitung ist, wie man's eben von Aquarian kennt, top!
