A moderately good solution

Bought it along with my Audix DP7 mic pack. Currently use on a snare top position.
Pros:
1. Always tightly and nicely secured on a rim with a bottom knob

Cons
1. Limited range of motion: I have the main post angled all the way back for the mic to be placed optimally. I fell like it's the only useful position for the Audix i5, SM57 shaped mics.
2. The retaining knob of the main post isn't strong enough to hold the weight of the mic+XLR in any other position rather the one I described in Con #1.
3. Can't be taken of immediately when you need to quickly change snares between songs or whatever...

The rubber inside the "mouth" of the clamp comes loose quite easily.

Best drum clamp on the market

I have purchased multiple sets of these and take them with me everywhere. They are solidly made and have never let me down!

Ich hätte nicht gedacht, dass die Dinger komplett aus Kunststoff sind... Das war mein erster Gedanke beim Auspacken. Doch schon nach den ersten Einsätzen am Drumset zeigte sich, wie stabil die Klammern dennoch sind! Sie sitzen dank gummierter Klammer, die sich mit einer Schraube fixieren lässt, absolut fest und sicher am Trommelrand. Für die Ausrichtung des Mikrofons kann man 2 Gelenke nutzen, die viel Spielraum in 2 Dimensionen zulassen. Die dritte Dimension - der Abstand zum Schlagfell - kann leider nicht sehr viel variiert werden. Für die mikrofonierung einer Snare würde ich doch besser auf eine D-Vice Klemme oder auf ein Stativ zurückgreifen.
Ansonsten Top! Super schnell, einfach und platzsparend zu montieren, undzwar auch an, Stativen, Verstärkern, Tischkanten, etc.

Leider bekommt man meines Wissens nach keine Ersatzteile dafür. Wenn also eine Klemme kaputt ist, was z. B bei unsachgemäßer Handhbung am Kunststoff-Gewinde recht schnell passiert, muss man leider neu kaufen
