I bought this in need of a 2 output interface. As my previous audio interface had only one combo input, my wish to record in stereo could not be satisfied.
After exploring the website, I decided to give this a go and am very glad I did. Also, being a Tracktion user, the fact that this has a license for Tracktion 6 helped me decide.
Let me start by saying that this unit is immaculate in its finish! All parts are robust, it feels sturdy and it actually weighs a bit. Unlike previous Behringer products, the knobs feel very solid, they are now using 'real' potentiometers made out of metal/steel and the buttons are completely reliable!
I like that the phantom power is hidden in the back and is hard to slide to the on position (cat owners will understand this point).
It's versatile as both XLR/ 1/4 inch inputs are switchable to instrument or line inputs. This unit uses Midas preamping which actually makes a lot of difference from my previous interface. I ran a bunch of tests A/B'ing both units (both line in and XLR) and I was blown away by the clarity of this unit. In comparison, it was like having removed a blanket from the speakers/headphones!
I would not change a thing about this unit and I believe it will last a long time!
I use it in my home studio and never had any issues or
noticeable latency.
I will also add two things: I use Win 7 32bit and did not have any issues with the drivers available on their website and I used their customer service and they were incredibly prompt, professional and helpful.
All in all, great product!
