Nice sound, corrected flat tune

This barrel corrected a little flat tune of my Buffer RC Prestige clarinet.
With by mouthpiece and reed (Legere) combination the tune was a little bit flat and with this 62 mm barrel it is now OK.
Also I like the sound of this barrel and I can recommend it.
Good barrel in reasonable price :-)

Good barrel for saxophonists

Great add to you clarinet if you're a saxophone player and using clarinet as a doubling instrument. I required it because I tend to tune too flat all the time while playing clarinet. This is a great way to make the instrument play in tune.

Deutliche Klangverbesserung durch Mönning-Barrel

Das Möning-Barrel , 62 mm, wurde mir von Thomann speziell für meine Buffet-Crampon-Klarinette, C 12 Vollböhm, angepasst. Der Klang des Instruments hat sich nun optimal verbessert. Der Ton ist bei geringfügig gesteigertem Blaswiderstand wesentlich voller und klarer geworden, die Ansprache ist ausgzeichnet. Diese Merkmale, verbunden mit einer wesentlich exacteren Stimmung des Instrument in allen Registern, ermöglichen eine elgante und flexible Tongestaltung, die so mit den üblichen Barrels kaum möglich ist. Das Barrel von Mönning ist absolut empfehlenswert, sowohl für den Jazz-Musiker als auch für den klassisch orientierten Klarinettisten.
