Suitable for Buffet RC series (Boehm system)
The upper part is made of plastic
The lower part is made of grenadilla wood
Improvements compared to the conventional clarinet barrel: the Zoom barrel has a continuous bore in every length setting and is not interrupted in the outer part either
An adjustment ring (with scale) makes tuning settings precisely visible and adjustable
Turning the adjusting ring allows the barrel to move apart without changing the axial direction
The sound characteristics are improved by the barrel
Made in Germany with the latest CNC technology

I bought this barrel because I sounded extremely tall especially from the c3 and higher tones. I was impressed by the radical change in my sound after changing the barrel. I like very much the possibility of changing size, which allows for incredible flexibility at different temperatures. I recommend people with intonation problems like me to try out the Paulus & Schuler series I think they will be pleased.

Jede Birne hat einen anderen Durchmesser

Habe auf meiner Buffet Festival seit einigen Jahren eine Zoombirne. Jetzt habe ich noch eine Buffet Légende , auf die die Birne gerade so, allerdings mit etwas Gewalt gepasst hat. Habe mir von Thomann vier Birnen zur Auswahl kommen lassen. Eine davon passt wunderbar. Die anderen drei habe ich zurückgeschickt. Der Sound ist allerdings echt super, aber das wusste ich bereits von meiner Festival.

très bon produit , invention géniale,très bonne qualité de fabriquation, ce barillet s'adapte aussi à la clarinette BUFFET E13
que je possède. fini l'eau de condensation entre le barillet et le corps de la clarinette,et le son s'en trouve meilleur. l'accordage de l'instrument s'avère très facile et très prècis . la longueur 62MM est à conseiller car réglable de 62 à 66MM il couvre toute l'amplitude d'accordage courant pour la clarinette Sib Boehm que ce soit en 440 ou 442hz . le prix me parait justifié pour cette très belle invention qui rempace au moins 4 barillets de longueur différentes. produit à recommander à tout clarinettiste qui se respecte.

In erster Linie tut die Birne genau das was sie soll - sie macht die Klarinette viel besser stimmbar. Aber sie verbessert außerdem auch etwas noch die Intonation, ein ewiges Stiefkind der Klarinetten, und der Klang ist etwas zentrierter im Vergleich zur schon sehr guten Mönnig-Birne. Aber natürlich macht sie auch aus einem Anfänger klanglich keinen Profi...Üben muss man schon selber ;-)
