I've tried many kinds of 8 gauge strings...
These strings last vey long, as long as the Earnie Ball coated 8s (which Thomann no longer stocks).
They sound better and rust incredibly slowly. They also have truly a better sound. I do would like to note that they are a bit thicker than the standard D'addario 8s (which have a 10 gauge high b instead of 11).
Really, no complaints, just expertly made strings

Good strings. Tried one on Les Paul as a tribute to Billy Gibbons light strings. Balanced sound, very easy on fingers (especially on Gibson scale), long lasting strings. Clear buy recommendation!

Teuer aber gut

Das sind wohl meine bisher teuersten Saiten, aber sie haben genau das getan, was ich erwartet hatte und somit hat sich die Investition gelohnt.

Auf der S770 wollte ich mal wieder ganz dünne Saiten testen, mit denen ich ja sonst immer klangliche Probleme hatte (b und e werden ja gern drahtig und leiser). Da kam mir dieses Päckchen unter und ich wurde nicht enttäuscht. Die Justage der "alten Dame" auf die .8er war etwas umfangreicher als erwartet (Hals einstellen, Tremolo samt Stabi an die Grenzen der Bolzenlängen bringen), aber es hat sich ausgezahlt. Die S770 ist zwar nicht mehr meine leichteste Gitarre, aber jetzt definitiv wieder die "schnellste". Dass es .8er sind, hört man nur mehr in den höhenbetonten Zwischenpositionen heraus, wo es aber idR. zum Vorteil gereicht.
Ich bin sehr zufrieden.
