Floor Fog Machine

For creating creeping fog similar to a dry ice effect for professional theatre effects
A built-in fog machine produces fog that is channelled through a tub filled with ice - the fog cools down, becomes heavier than the surrounding air and then creeps along the floor for some time until it dissolves
One ice filling of approx. 2 kg lasts for approx. 2 hours, depending on the intensity of use
The drainage device enables the ice container to be emptied and refilled cleanly - melted ice goes into a drainage bag and can be easily emptied using a valve on the back
For use with normal ice cubes or ice packs
With handy timer control

Overall, not a good buy

Didn't produce enough fog at every interval, stopped every few seconds, and fog didn't stay low to the ground even though I used ice and the room temperature was cool. The low amount of fog meant that I had to wait for the machine to keep producing fog, but because it was stopping every few seconds, the previously produced fog was already rising from the ground. I bought it based on the good reviews but it wasn't right for what I need, it ended up being a regular smoke machine, which I could have gotten one at a much cheaper price.

Nebelt wie wild - aber die Fernbedienung ....

Also: es nebelt sehr schön und viel.

Ich benutze das Gerät mit künstlichen Eiswürfeln, da fällt das Thema Entwässerung weg, was es komfortabel macht.

Die Timer-Funktion der Fernbedienung hat mich genarrt: ich dachte zuerst die sei defekt.

Mit dem Kundenserice von Thomann (super, wie bisher immer!) dann heraus bekommen:

Die aufgedruckten Zahlen bezeichnen nicht etwa Minuten oder Sekunden, sondern sind eine "artifizielle Skale".

Der Timer startet mit der "Pause" und schickt in der kürzesten Einstellung dann nach knapp 30 Sekunden das erste Mal Nebel ... usw.

Also wozu das gut sein soll, erschließt sich mir nicht ..... (Ich hätte gedacht, man kann zB "10 Sekunden Nebel aller 30 Sekunden" einstellen. Aber das geht so nicht.)

Ansonsten: Gutes Nebelmaschinchen. (Durch den Eisbehälter recht voluminös, deutlich größer als die kleinen z.B. von Eurolite, die ich vorher hatte.)

Für den kleinen Hunger perfekt!

Für kleine Bühnen ist die Bodennebelmaschine ganz gut. Circa 4-5 Meter vor der Nebelmaschine ist der Nebel dann so warm geworden dass er aufgestiegen ist, was in meinem Fall völlig ausreichend ist. Die Ausstoßdauer könnte etwas länger sein. Sehr überraschend ist die Isolierung des Einsbehälters. Selbst nach 2 Stunden war der Einsbehälter noch über halb voll mit Eis.
Das Kabel der Fernbedienung ist ein bisschen kurz war aber mit einem zusätzlichen Midikabel einfach zu verlängern.
Alles in allem für Bodennebel im kleinen Rahmen gut.
