• Humbucker sounds similarly full, warm and powerful to an EMG 85; the single coil is bright, airy, and chimey, much like an EMG SA
• The X-Series offers more dynamic reserves, which give the pickup an organic and open sound while at the same time retaining the clarity and response that EMG is known for
