As slinky as it can get

The quality is great, just like any other Ernie Ball string set. The gauge is perfect for people that feel 9s are too thin and want the playability benefits of a light set and the thick tone of a thicker set. It gives you the perfect tone while being absolutely comfortable to play.

Just a bit heavier

These strings are just a little heavier than 9's. they're great for folks that have tried 10 gauge and found them just that bit too heavy, I find them ideal on s type guitars where they seem almost perfect, built to the ususl Ernie Ball standards, if you really need a recommendation then check out the artists who use them, it's just like a roll of fame. ... Just PERFECT

Was always a 10s guy, tried 9s and didn't like them at all. Always use these now, on lps, sg, strat or tele they're my favourite by far.

Ich habe früher immer die Skinny Top Heavy Bottom benutzt. Die haben mich auch grundsätzlich überzeugt und ich nutze sie weiterhin für tiefere Stimmungen. Da ich in meinen Bands aber nur E-Standard spiele, waren die STHB auf den Bass-Saiten immer mega straff und der Verschleiß durch mein eher wenig filigranes Spiel recht hoch. Ebenfalls wollte ich das low end etwas ausdünnen, damit ich unseren Bassisten nicht ins Gehege komme. Das hat funktioniert, der Sound im Mix ist dadurch aufgeräumter, wenn ich Powerchords auf den Bass-Saiten schrammel. Für mich hat es sich gelohnt. Ich habe eine Epihone LP Jr. und die verträgt sich gut mit den Saiten. Sie klingen lange gut, so dass ich nicht so oft wechseln muss, was den Geldbeutel freut, auch wenn der Preis völlig angemessen ist.
