SUPER BRIGHT!

Bought two to achieve a day-time and night-time 'blizzard' effect by focusing them tightly onto a motorised mirrorball, which we'd flown from the big wooden beams supporting a 7m high glazed roof. The 4-deg beam angle was just perfect for the two lamps to perfectly focus on the bottom diameter/half of the mirrorball, and the 10W output did a super job on the brightness/impact of the effect on the surrounding walls and floor space of the large covered walkway space, where we had set up a gorgeous Winter Wonderland scene. Because the lamps were fitted to a gate at the external entrance to the event space, we needed IP65-rated lamps, so these lamps were fit-for-purpose and, for sure, fully recommended by me.

Schöner Spot mit Schwächen

Hatte zwei dieser Spots mehrere Tage im Außenbereich in Betrieb, das Wetter schwankte zwischen sonnig und regnerisch, und bin semibegeistert davon. Dass sie ausgewiesen outdoortauglich sind, stimmt micht hoffnungsvoll, dass sie auch eine Weile in diesem Einsatz halten. Aber dass sich auch bei Dauerbetrieb im Innern Kondenswasser bildet, lässt mich ein klein wenig an der wirklichen Outdoortauglichkeit zweifeln.
Außerdem stört mich extrem, dass der Bügel nicht, wie so ziemlich alle Geräte, eine M10-Bohrung für bspw. die Manfrotto Clamp hat. Musste ich aufbohren, um ihn sinnvoll nutzen zu können – was hoffentlich nicht etwaige Garantieansprüche wegen kondensierenden Wassers im Innern zunichtemacht. Aber ohne Clamp-Nutzung sind sie für mich de facto nicht brauchbar.

Die Helligkeit ist jedenfalls sehr gut, wenn auch der Strahl arg eckig ist und nicht so schön eng wie bspw. beim ADJ Pinspot LED II.
Für das Geld sind sie aus meiner Sicht auch trotz dieser Schwächen eine sinnvolle Investition für eine bequeme Spiegelkugelnutzung im Außenbereich.

Verarbeitung gut, Lichtqualität auch, aber er gibt keinen runden, sondern eher viereckigen Lichtstrahl.
Da gefiel mir der Adj Pinspot Led II wesentlich besser, der auch günstiger ist und kleiner, bei gleicher Lichtkraft. Der Eurolite hat dafür einen breiteren Lichtkegel.
