Bought this for my sunburst Fender Highway One Jazz, that originally came with a white pick guard. I seriously considered purchasing a cheaper alternative to save some cash but decided to go ahead and spend the extra money on the Fender product, and I have to say it is well worth that extra investment. From the outset, it is easy to identify the great quality of the product. The look of the 3-ply is also an added bonus. Although I'd imagine it would be quite difficult to damage a pick guard, I've had zero issues with it and is in the same great condition as it was when I first received the product. Great!

Fender original part for fender bass. I was cleaning up an old bass and decided it needed a new pickguard. Great quality Fender original part was the only way to go. All screw holes lined up also. Just don’t forget to order a bag of new fender screws to really make it pop!

I bought this for my Fender Jazz 70's Reissue. If I'd have done my research, I would have discovered that not all Jazz pick guards fit every Jazz bass. I can do a bit of filing and sanding but kind of defeats the object. I could have bought a generic pick guard from Ebay at a fraction of the cost with the same result.

My bass guitar body is full black now & it has a beautiful contrast with the maple neck!
Easy to fit without any problems.
