Delivery from Thomann was very fast, although the cardboard box was unnecessarily large for the two relatively small items ordered. I used the tool straight away to adjust the truss rod on a Gibson ES-339. It does fit, but very tightly - in my case I had to tap it gently into place using a wooden spacer to avoid any damage (I have plenty of experience working on guitars, so this was done carefully and deliberately).
If the truss rod nut is at all stiff, you’ll need more leverage than the handle comfortably provides. The handle is rather small and thin, and the cross-head screwdriver end can dig into your hand under pressure. I found it much better to slide a narrow pipe over the handle to improve grip, leverage, and control.
Once properly seated and with sufficient purchase, the tool works well. Removing it again required a few gentle taps to loosen it. One final point: the cross-head screwdriver tip is too large for the screws on the truss rod cover, so a correctly sized screwdriver is still needed—otherwise you risk damaging the screws.
Overall, a useful tool - but expect a tight fit and be prepared to improvise slightly for safe and effective use.
