It said on the paper it came with sandpaper but it didn't. Otherwise, works as intended, provided you smear that bow in the rosin. I personally got it to replicate a song I liked on violin on guitar, but the bow is just a tad too short for that. Probably best use case is for adding dramatic ambience.

Use with decent violin resin and not cheap resin. From violin experience from a family member, it makes sense.

Durch das Harz, welches für die Reibung benötigt wird, damit der Ton entsteht, werden die Seiten ziemlich schmierig, weshalb bei Roundwound-Saiten der Bogen sicherlich ein bisschen eklig ist. Flatwounds lassen sich gut abwischen, da ist das kein Problem. Um brauchbare Ergebnisse vom Klang zu erzielen muss man vor allem lange daran üben, die Bogenbewegung gleichmäßig durchzuführen. Also bitte nicht erwarten, dass es gleich nach Kontrabass klingt.
