Wonderful bass

The MV-4PJ is a really well made instrument. Mine is flawless. Right out of the box the setup was totally playable. The pickups sound very good to me and the controls have obviously been improved from earlier models as they are solid and don't feel cheap at all, plus the tone control works really well and is very usable across it's whole range. My MV-4 weighs 4kg but Ash can vary so others may be lighter. The neck feels slim and fast with the frets well polished, not at all gritty.
Mine is finished in burgundy mist which is beautiful. No join lines are visible under the finish, even when angled to the light. It's hard to believe that it costs so little. Feels like a bass worth 2 to 3 times the price.
The packaging was excellent, double boxed with padding, wrapped in polypropylene with the strings protected from moisture.
Two Niggles: 4 or 5 slightly sharp fret ends above the 14th fret on the treble side. (I'll sort that out once the summer heat begins)
The rather large "luminous" edge marker dots may require UV light to be effective.

Great bass for the price

It's a great bass for the price, doesn't weigh too much, looks great and sounds good. Action was set nicely.

Ich bin begeistert. Und selten genug, aber es kommt vor, meine Frau ist begeistert - Instrumentenkauf inkl. Hausfrieden ;).

Perfekt lackiert, ganz starker klarer und druckvoller Klang, bundrein und sehr gut spielbar.

Matching Headstock in Burgundy Metallic ist schon wirklich ein Kracher.
Der Preis liegt weit unter dem tatsächlichen Wert dieses (wieder ein weiteres Mal) großartige Harley Benton Instrument.
Man muss als Musiker wirklich dankbar sein in dieser Zeit zu leben und aktiv zu sein - Thomann treibt das Ganze auf die Spitze.
Preis-Leistung ist hier unfassbar gut.
Wer kein Markenfetischist ist aber auf Optik und Qualität steht, ist hier bei dieser Schönheit 100% richtig.
Einzig die Drehregler wirken billig, ich empfehle direkt Harley Benton P-Knöpfe für 2,99€ mit zu bestellen - mit 5,98€ extra ist der Bass optisch perfekt.
@Thomann: ggf die billig wirkenden Drehregler von vornherein gegen Hochwertigere ersetzen?

Hab mir diesen Bass als ersten Bass gekauft, da ich der Farbe nicht widerstehen konnte. (sieht in echt auch sehr geil aus)

Da das wie gesagt mein erster Bass ist hab ich hier kein großes sachlichen Wissen, jedoch lässt sich der Bass für mich echt schön spielen und kommt mir gut verarbeitet vor.
Bin voll zufrieden. :)
