Guitarra low cost para esquerdinos

Esteticamente muito bonita. A tocabilidade é agradável, o som não deixa a desejar, especialmente ligada a um bom amp.

NF
OK guitar with some minor issues
Nathan F. 05.04.2015
I just purchased this. It is my first guitar with active humbuckers. These are not super hot, but they will overdrive an amp if you really dig in. It is possible to get some decent clean tone, surprisingly.

These do have the correct 25k pots, just in case you might be worried about that.

It appears to have a bone nut, that is cut very well. Compared to a some cheaper Chinese guitars I've purchased on the internet, the setup is quite good indeed.

The only issues I had were with the finish. They mask off the binding on the top edge, but don't blend the edge well so it leaves a slight lip where the finish is easily chipped and it looks like some of the finish may have stuck to the tape so there are some rough areas along the top edge.

2 month Update:
Some issues I forgot to include. Mystery goo on frets requiring heavy polishing to remove. Looks like glue possibly.

I did not care for the stock pickups. I swapped them out in favor of Seymour Duncan Blackouts, which are a direct drop in replacement. Sounds incredible now.

The hardware is a step up over Chinese guitars in this price range, but clearly lower quality than what comes on most Epiphones and Squiers.

After the pickup swap and a little TLC, this guitar plays great, but it still looks and feels cheap.

Final update:

I reinstalled the stock pickups to give them a second chance. I think they are actually quite good upon further review. They sound like an active pickup should.

I think I was too quick to try new pickups in this, and did not give these a fair shake.

The guitar holds tune well and now that I've spent a little time polishing the frets it plays a whole lot better.

Outstanding value for price!

It has been an amazing experience purchasing this Harley Benton from Thomann. The shipping was fast, and the box was flawless. The unboxing was great! No damages, dings, or scratches upon inspecting the guitar. No setup was needed! Just tune up and play straight out of the box. Amazing.
All the electronics were perfectly in order when putting in a 9-volt and plugging it in. I was afraid that after seeing some online reviews, the active pickups could produce a bit of a background hiss when high gain is applied, but I guess I'm lucky because mine are dead quiet when I use my gain on the Marshall or Peavey. Lastly, hardware: the tuners are okay, smooth enough so you won't have to fight the guitar while tuning. They hold tuning, but they can always be upgraded to a higher tuning ratio or locking tuners. The frets are super. After playing for two weeks, I can't find any dead spots, which is great. And there also is no fret sprout anywhere on the neck. That, combined with the smooth satin finish on the whole body, makes it a dream to play. The bridge is your standard LP bridge that does its job; not much to say about it. Overall, I am very pleased with the purchase, would easily recommend!
