I used Petrucci signature and Jazz III and Jazz III MaxGrip. Jazz III feels cheap and too flexible at 1.0mm and slippery, it does the job. The Petrucci are too hard for not shred stuff and you can definitely here pick attack. I like the MaxGrip sound but for some reason feels too rough to my fingers. Well these Ibanez gives you the best of all 3 - sound, feel, attack and are not rough but still glued on your fingers. You must try it!

I bought these picks to add to my growing collection of picks. The shipping was fast and easy. These picks definitely play well and can handle a lot of play before showing signs of use. I will say the grip-tape like grip does feel different and takes some time to get use to. I will say that it snot perfect, if you have a lose grip these still can slide of, the grip helps put doesn't fix the chance of missing your pick if you're are holding lose on. The grip also goes down a bit further than you think, so you need to be the type of player that plays with the tip of the pick barely sticking out. I can see for more technical guys that this pick would be great, but if you kind of just slam your pick into the strings then its likely the grip tape with make contact with the stings. Hope that makes sense and overall a fine product.
