Fixed major feedback on my guitar rig

I'd been struggling with a ground loop on my 2 amp guitar rig causing constant uncontrollable feedback as soon as I plugged it. Tried everything to fix it, was ready to give up until I came across this box that made the problem not just better but completely disappear!

Went from constant feedback making my rig unusable to no issue at all.

I didn't know that this line isolator would contribute so much to the overall sound. Now I have much more power, dynamics and thrust. Before I played with a di box and it always colored the sound in a way I didn't like and lowered the level. Even with expensive di. Maybe because the transformers in the di box have a 12:1 step-down ratio and with a line isolator a 1:1 ratio. Just to mention that I use it with Iridium. I highly recommend it with both hands.

Das Teil habe ich als Tontechniker immer dabei. Insbesondere, wenn man mit seinem Setup in seltsame Haus-Anlagen einspeisen muss, können schnell Brummschleifen auftreten. Hier hilft der 1:1 Line-Übertrager, bei dem der Ausgang eben nicht leiser ist als am Eingang angeliefert.

Manchmal dient das Ding auch dazu, Keyboard-Signale zu symmetrieren und an eine Stagebox anzuschließen. Das funktioniert aber nur dann, wenn man keinen Durchschleif-Ausgang braucht, z.B. zur eigenen Monitorlösung des Keyboarders – und wenn man ein Mischpult hat, das auf den XLR-Inputs auch Line-Pegel verträgt.

Nicht geeignet ist das Produkt für passive E-Bässe, passive Piezo-Tonabnehmer oder passive E-Gitarren. Hier würde eine deutliche unerwünschte Klangveränderung auftreten. Das wäre dann ein Fall für eine aktive DI-Box.

Aber wenn man weiß, wie es einzusetzen ist: Zwischen Hilfsmittel und Arschretter – möchte ich nicht missen, hat schon so manche Show gerettet.

Die Verarbeitung ist solide. Klang ist auch gut (für mich eben keine Klangveränderung wahrnehmbar).
